Volunteering

River Hills/Lake Wylie EMS is a non-profit emergency medical service that has been covering the Lake Wylie/Bethel community for over 30 years. We are also available to the rest of York County and are dispatched around the county daily. We offer volunteer positions to paramedics and EMTs in the surrounding areas. Volunteers can work part-time or full-time, depending on their availability. 

Once accepted into our squad, volunteers complete a volunteer packet while riding as the third squad member on the truck. This allows our volunteers to be trained and prepared with River Hills/Lake Wyle EMS protocols before riding as the second squad member on the truck. We greatly value and appreciate our volunteer members and look forward to gaining more EMTs and paramedics.
